Animation / CGI Specialist
Michal Ulman is a visual effects and motion graphics artist, graphic designer, and Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and Co-Founder of uIntuition Inc.
Michal’s portfolio consists of various special effects shots, commercials, product logos, brochures, print ads and other forms of marketing material and motion graphics. Some of his most notable work includes training videos for Home Depot and special effects for feature films, such as “Anything Goes,” produced by Sevmar and distributed by eOne.
As Co-Founder of uIntuition Inc — an agency that finds work for talented University students — Michal is responsible for various roles including directing employees, overseeing customer relations, IT work, and financial management. Within it’s first few months of launching, his start-up attracted media attention from the Globe and Mail, CTV Kitchener, TheRecord.com and Imprint. uIntuition was also the 2013 winner of the People’s Choice Award at Velocity’s Demo Day Competition.
A former IB graduate, Michal now continues his rigorous studies as an Honours student in the University of Waterloo’s prestigious Systems Design Engineering program. His educational background has provided him with a solid foundation from which to form a strategic and critical approach to a wide array of topics.
With the mind of an engineer, the eye of a designer and the heart of an entrepreneur, Michal is a triple threat known to shatter client expectations.
